General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Any infections like parasitic infections can affect appetite. Anemia and other nutritional deficiency should be ruled out. Constipation or food allergies can also reduce appetite. Avoid excessive force and push food to the kid. Increase playful activities before meal.Eating should not become a stress to the child.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
