What Causes Large Amount Of Thick Phlegm During Night?
85 year old female, 85 lbs, 5' 4"
only diagnosis is Parkinsons for 10 years.
What causes large amounts of thick white Phlem that only happens after going to bed for a person with parkinsons?
What can be done to elemenate or decrese this problem.
Her Dr. says drink a little lemon water before going to bed and keep head elevated 45 deg. which we do.

Noted you have white phlegm ...
If congestive symptoms like runny nose associated then decongestent like antihistaminic drug given...
Here bronchitis has to be ruled out...
For that chest x ray needed....
If needed antibiotic given....
If congestion more steam inhalation can taken...
Avoid smoking if habit....
For congestion Galic cloves one or two added in cup of milk boil and cooled...then taken...
Turmeric powder in milk also useful.
Consult pulmonologist for detail examination...
