What Causes Large Black Spot On The Big Toe Nails?

Hello, my left big toenail has a big black spot on the bottom raiding up the right side. Without pain, swallowing discomfort at the moment. Also my right big toenail has a fading black spot on it. Without pain, swallowing discomfort at the moment. Please help, they both look disgusting and ready for it to be healed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

The black spots on your toes of both sides ( left and right) are accumulation of blood and debris after an injury.

Perhaps you have hurt them without noticing.

As they are painless, that means they're on the final way to get healed.

It requires a few weeks to months for the nails to grow, so the black spots will disappear. Cut your nails regularly and keep good hygiene.

Wish fast recovery.
