What Causes Large Bump On Back Of Skull In A 4 Year Old?

My son is 4 and I just discovered that he has a big bump on the back of his skull . It s on the left side not sure what it is . I m going to get him checked out tomorrow but just freaking out . He says it doesn t hurt and he hasn t hit he s head please could u tell me maybe what it could be ?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a reactive lymph node. I recommend to get a physical examination done and also some examinations to exclude other possible causes. In my opinion, it I probably nothing to be concerned.
