What Causes Large Bumps On The Face?

My husband is doing hormone therapy for prostate cancer. Is is possible that some of the testosterone that is being depleted from his body could be affecting me? I am 65 and have never had pimples or skin issues and now I am getting big bumps on my face. I wondered if this was a possibility?

Hi,

No, it is not possible that his endocrine functions are seen in your bloodstream.

Yes, if there is any sort of changes in your sexual behavior (you have avoided it completely) or you have started taking any sort of hormonal therapy to yourself that may be the issue.

I would recommend you to go for a diabetic check up and fasting blood sugar level. I think this may be the cause. To avoid further pimples you can use Adapalene cream once or twice on pimple site.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
