Hi, I have a question about fatty tumors. I have had one in my left arm near my tricep for about 4 years and my doctor said to just leave it there since it would take surgery to remove it and that I d have a scar. Now I have another one on the other arm, on the inside near the crook of my arm and it is pretty large! What is causing these and is there any other way to get rid of them? Thank you for the advice. Greta
There is no reason for lipomas why are they formed. They are composed of fatty tissues and are benign, not causing major health issues or spreading. Surgery is the only option to remove them other treatments you may hear don't work.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
