What Causes Large Swelling At Base Of Spine During Pregnancy?
Hi, My daughter in law is currently 31 weeks pregnant. She has a largish swelling at the base of her spine. She has no other swelling anywhere else (ankles, legs, hands, fingers etc). Could this be an indication of fluid retention or something else?

I really appreciate your concern, swelling during pregnancy is common but not in the spine region this is very less likely, if no other symptoms are there then this is nothing to worry, still better to keep this under observation, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
