What Causes Late Light Period?

hi. i have 3 kids and i know every pregnancy is different. i normally have a very heavy 2 week long period but this month it was a week late and super light and only 2 days long. Well it ended about 5 days ago. No spotting at all like normal. i took a pregnancy test it was negative. Well last night me and my husband made love and i made our bed soaked. it was not from climaxing or over arousal. that has never happened before ever. i googled what happened last night signs of pregnancy are coming up as results. could i be pregnant and just too early for a test? all three of my pregnancies were different. thanks for your help.

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period and with a fresh early morning sample. Since the recent menstrual cycle is abnormal and you have a suspicion of conception, please go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titers and a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the issue.
