What Causes Late Period After Taking Antibiotics?

I took penicilin 500 over 10 days, my dentist gave it to me to reduce a tooth infection. My first day of cycle last month was pn the 6th and till now I did not get my period. I did a pregnancy test which showed nagtive. What is your conclusion? ShouldI try also other pregnancy tests?
