What Causes Late Period In A Person With Thyroid Disorder?

hello sir,i was supposed to have my periods on 23rd but there are no signs of it till now. i had a intercourse with my bf twice this month without precautions. i am also a thyroid patient. i took a pregnancy test on 27th and it was negative. i am really worried. are there any chances of pregnancy? what can be done now? please help.

Hello,
Most important reason for delay in periods is pregnancy and so it may be there.You should wait for another 4-5 days and get the pregnancy test repeated preferably with the first urine of morning sample.
If it is again found to be negative,then it is a surety that you are not pregnant.
