Hi,

I suggest you to take the child to a Pediatrician. Do the blood workout to rule out anaemia, blood sugar to thyroid function. Persistent depressive disorder is one of the common disorders in children who are inactive, over eating or avoid food, sleepy and lazy. Early intervention should be needed, since the child is in developing age, a phase of active brain development.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
