What Causes Left Abdominal Pain After Having Bowel Movement?

Hi, I am a 46 yr. old female. Between 6 months to a yr. ago, i started experiencing extreme pain in my lower left abdomen area after i would have a bowel movement. It sounds kind of crazy, but the best way to explain how it feels, it feels like someone is pulling my stomach out, like a rubber band, andstretching it out as far as they can, and then letting it go, and it slaps me in the stomach and back REALLY hard. Then the pain settles in my left hip area and radiates the pain into my back. It feels like someone has a metal scraper, scraping inside my left hip. The pain is excruciating, and it very rarely goes away.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and while bowel movement due to irritation on lower abdomen can give rise to this abdominal colic.
USG of abdomen will be of much helpful to conclude about your problem.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
Meanwhile take antispasmodic like Meftal spas as needed.
Ok and take care.
