Hi,

There are many possible causes of left ankle swelling and reddish stripes on the left thigh, including infections, inflammation, and blood vessel problems. Given that you have a history of varicose veins in the same leg, it is possible that the swelling is related to this condition. Varicose veins are veins that have become enlarged and twisted, which can lead to blood pooling and swelling in the affected area. In some cases, varicose veins can also lead to skin changes, such as reddish or brownish discoloration, and skin ulcers.

The fact that the swelling has reduced but not fully resolved after taking Banocide suggests that there may still be some underlying issue that needs to be addressed. It is important to follow up with your doctor for further evaluation and management, which may include additional testing or imaging studies, or referral to a specialist such as a vascular surgeon or dermatologist.

In terms of recovery, it is difficult to say without a definitive diagnosis. Some conditions, such as varicose veins, can be managed effectively with lifestyle modifications, compression stockings, or minimally invasive procedures. Other conditions may require more aggressive treatment, such as antibiotics or surgery.

In general, it is important to maintain good overall health and manage any underlying conditions to reduce the risk of recurrence. This may include regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding prolonged sitting or standing, and following any treatment recommendations from your healthcare provider.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
