What Causes Left Chest Pain Along With Pain In Left Leg?

I have been experiencing left chest pains for the longest while. I thought it was due to alcohol consumption so I stopped drinking for awhile. The pain continued but not as bad but I have realsed that it gets worse whenever I drink. Although I did not drink last night, it was worst that I ever felt. It was as if my chest was tearing apart whenever I lay on my right side. To relieve the pain I had to lay on my left side holding tight my left chest. The pain continued all night. Right now I am feeling a heaviness in my chest as though my heart is swollen. I am not sure if its related but all day yesterday i had some burning sensation and needle like pain at the back of my left leg just below my knee. What maybe the cause?

well, it's a damn serious issue.....You might have a pulmonary infarction secondary to a clot dislodged from the calf veins to your lung vessels. It's time you take an urgent appointment and have you BP checked, If that's low you need a clot bustier
