What Causes Left Eye To Be Watery?

My left eye is watering non-stop. At first I thought i might have some dirt or dust in it so I tried cleaning it but it has done nothing. However, I also have a runny left nostril that is blocked as well. Is this just a cold or do i need to see a specialist?

you are having epiphora manly due to partial or complete block of nasolacrimal duct. so first punctumdilatation and syringing may be done repeated ly. if it opens up then problem is over or point of block is to be located. radio opaque dye may be injected from pnctum serial x-ray taken . this will indicate point of block. after observing block point treatment have to be decided. it may be surgery.
