What Causes Left Foot Swelling Inspite Of Suffering From Cellulitis In Left Leg?

My husband is 2 days home after hospital stay with cellulitis/staph infection in left leg from knee down. New symptoms that have developed today are left ankle/foot swelling & foot cold but still has a good pulse in the foot. What is this? Should he return to ER? He has no fever but feels miserable and not well at all. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Staph infections are rare and takes long to cure. You should go back to ER.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
