What Causes Left Hand Radiating Pain After Heart Attack?

My husband suffered a heart attack in March this year. Since then he has had pain in his left arm that radiates into his ring finger and middle finger. He is 53 and weighs 205lbs. He had 4 stents implanted at the time of the attack. No history of heart disease.

Dear Mrs,

The pain you describe can be due to residual cardiac problems or new blockage of stent or a heart artery, but it can be also a simply joint pain, so I would advise you to see your doctor to evaluate whether it is cardiac problem (angina) or not.

Hope I could help you

Regards,
