What Causes Left Side Chest Pain That Radiates Down To Arm?

I am wondering if I should worry about my heart condition. I am 28 years old female, with no serious medical history involving heart issues. At least to date. As far as I know none from my family either. Although I have had high anxiety from time to time and have had a high blood pressure reading a few times. The last my blood pressure was taken it was 115. Lately I have noticed my left side below my breast feels a slight ache or like indigestion. But its not too uncomfortable, just noticeable. Also I can sometimes feel like in my left arm, it won t hurt, but it is like i can feel my blood pumping more in my left then my right. I dunno, I sometimes wonder if my bed is bad for me, because I do sleep on my left side a lot. i just want to ask someone. I can worry more then needed, which play part of my anxiety. Just am curious if these are symptoms to get an appointment about

Hello,

The symptoms mentioned do not point to any specific problem with your heart. If your blood pressure, heart rate are normal, if you have been doing regular exercises like walking, jogging or any similar ones, then there is no reason to worry. Since you also have anxiety it is possible that because of that kind of symptoms are generated or imagined. For your satisfaction please get an EKG and if necessary an echo cardio gram to rule out any possibility problem with your heart. Be positive and do not unnecessarily imagine some thing wrong with your heart.
