What Causes Left-sided Abdominal Cramps With Severe Pain?

On the left side I am having a abdominal cramping and was wondering what that could possibly be. Sometimes I double over with excruciating pain. It eventually does go away whenever I I am finally able to go to the bathroom. I have MS and do have trouble with my bowels. This cramping is new.

Could really be anything, the most important thing to rule out would be kidney issues such as kidney injury, a urinary tract infection and a stone. Please see your provider.
