What Causes Left-sided Chest Pain And Throbbing Heart Feeling?

The last few months, the left side of my chest hurts when I get really mad or stressed. Sometimes it s a pinched feeling, sometimes a sharp pain and sometimes a heavy throbbing feeling. This Worries me because I am married with kids and I am still young. I have 100% full coverage but am very hesitant to actually get checked out. I keep telling myself I m fine until it happens again the next day. I know it s wrong to brush my symptoms off but I m always so busy with the kids that is so hard to find time to go in.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You should get yourself checked definitely to rule out / confirm any cardiac illness. An EKG and if indicated a TMT is required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
