What Causes Left-sided Chest Pain At The Back While Smoking?

Hi i am 26 years old male and my left chest hurts from back side when i smoke and my left back side feels stressed mostly at night, i had a x-ray but everything was negative, please tell me the reason of this pain and how i recover from it because I already reduced my smoking habit

back of the chest is typically a lung pain. cannot say in your particular case
but
this pain is burning, changed by the breathing cycle and often with breathing changes (noisy lung, cough, gunk, etc).
it is more common in smokers
asthma medicines like monteleukast usually fix it right up.
