What Causes Left-sided Ear And Jaw Pain While On Doxycycline For A Sinus Infection?
I had a sinus infection with postnatal drip causing a soar throat and bronchial tube irrigation and was prescribed doxycycline 100 mg 2x day on Wednesday. I have since had some really weird side effects I have gone back to the emerge waited almost 3 hours with nothing moving so decided to come home. I know have jaw pain on my left side causing some pain to my left ear but I can t hear from my right very well when tilted forward and to the left help!
As you are on doxycycline for a sinus infection. Causes for ear pain and jaw pain are:- 1) Referral pain of a sinus infection 2) Injury 3) Tooth infection 4) Ear wax 5) Ear infection 6) Otitis externa You can use Otobiotic nasal drops. Do steam inhalation three to four times a day. Treatment depends upon underlying condition. Kindly follow with detailed history or consult with ENT surgeon.
