What Causes Left-sided Rib Cage Pain, Chills, Night Sweats And Weight Loss?
Hi ....I was admitted into hospital with bad pains on my left side by rib cage.. burning up in bed then being freezing cold even in nice hot weather aching legs no apitute weight loss from 9.half stone to 8 stone 7 in 3 weeks No energy at all very tired was in hospital for 4 days told I had pneumonia then they thought I had blood clot on lung...then they decided it s TB and sent me home ....pains still their carnt live a norm life having blood test to check liver and now their say in their growing my bacteria in lab to see what is wrong with me I feel this has gone on far to and gave me tb meds.....I want to know what it means when the say an evirormental virus I could have....Please help

Your symptoms of loss of appetite, night sweats with weight loss and pain in cheat cage suggest pulmonary tuberculosis. They are doing confirmatory culture and sensitivity test to start with more specific medications as per need. Please wait till the results come. They have already started with common medications. The positive effect will take few weeks to appear. Till then please continue treatment, take rest, eat healthy nutritious food. Be positive. The treatment needs to be taken for 6 months to one year for complete cure.
