What Causes Left-sided Severe Lower Abdominal Pain After An Abortion?

Hi,I had an abortion in April dis year and I was given some pills to take to flush it out cos I was 1month pregnant and according to the pharmacist he said it hadn t formed so taking it out won t be an issue so he did and it worked but right now I feel a vry serious pain in my lower abdomen on d left side n I feel very sick av bin taking malaria drugs bt it isn t working pls wat do I do.tnx

Hello,

The symptoms can be related to many medical conditions. One of the common causes can be ovarian cyst. I recommend to do an abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation. Meanwhile,I suggest using a spasmolytic such as Buscopan to relieve the pain. Warm compresses at the pelvic area can also be helpful.
