Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have left-sided swelling under tonsils and chin along with feet numbness which seems to be due to chronic tonsillitis. I would suggest you to do beta-dine gargles after every three hours to relieve pain in throat. Maintain hygiene of oral cavity by brushing, flossing and antibiotic mouth wash daily. Numbness in feet may occur due to condution like sciatica , peripheral neuropathy or insufficient blood supply .

Take antibiotic Azithromycin along with multivitamin and take paracetamol combination for relive of symptoms of fever. If your symptoms keeps on persisting even after 1 week then visit ENT specialist once to get it checked properly and take proper prescription for your condition. 3 months or more persistence of tonsillitis with repeated infections , should be managed with tonsillectomy.

Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon fo numbness in feet . You can go for biopsy of lesion as well to rule out condition such as cancer. Keep chewing basil leaves and ginger in small quantity.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
