What Causes Leg Bruising, Back Pain And A Hip Lump?

I went to the emergency room in the middle of May and found out that I had a 2mm kidney stone. I thought that I passed it because I didn t have pain for a month. I went back to the ER at the end of June and they said that I didn t pass the stone and they gave me climax and a strainer. Well I still haven t passed the stone and I am starting to experience some bruising on my legs. My kegs feel weak and I also have a lump on my hip (same side as kidney stone). It is getting bigger and bow I am having back pain. When I sit for a long period of time. I am peeing regularly and this back pain feels different than the kidney stone pain I have experienced in the past. This is my first stone. Please help.

Hello,

You are suffering from back pain, hip lump and leg bruising. You have history of having kidney stone. Leg bruising is commonly caused by vitamin deficiency, take food rich in vitamin K and C. You can also take supplements. Liver problems and auto immune diseases may also cause bruising.

Back pain may be related to the lump in the hip. Factors that can cause such symptoms are lumber herniated disc, piriformis syndrome, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis -it causes pain in the lower back and legs. Lumps in the hips may be indicative of hip strain, abscess, benign bony growth (osteochondroma), sciatica, etc.

Since you also have kidney stones, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get required blood tests and imaging tests (X-ray, CT, MRI) done so that complete study is done and pathology causing you discomfort is detected. Your treatment will depend on the severity of the symptoms, conservative treatment is given, surgery may be recommended if needed. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
