Hi,

It seems inevitable to visit hospital though I can understand the trouble it causes you usually however a pain medication specialist as well as neurosurgeon review is needed. Fresh scans and nerve conduction studies may be needed. Meanwhile if OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen are not working more potent analgesic like tramadol or gabapentin may be needed.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
