What Causes Leg Pain Along With Palpitations And Excessive Sweating?

Hi, I have a history of a brain aneurysm & tri-geminal neuralgia. I just experienced some kind of attack and my BP is 160/90. No syncopy however uncontrolled rapid eye movement with excrutiating right leg pain. Rapid heart rate, body sweating, confusion at the time, right sided head pain, visual disturbances. A recent MRI showed nothing, recent EEG shows slowing right side. Please advise if I should go to the ER or sleep it off

Hello,

Yes, you should. You should regularly check for Blood Pressure and also should take Heart medications.

Although I can say you some medicines, here I cannot as I have to see your weight and other factors to judge which one to give and the dosage otherwise you may have many side effects.

Increase Vitamin Multi supplements, especially Vitamin B1. Get advised of medication, I can assure you, you will feel much much better.

Meanwhile, you can do to prevent heart disease:

Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Control your blood pressure and cholesterol level.

Maintain a normal body weight, Exercise regularly, Don't smoke, Limit alcohol use to one to two drinks per day.

Thank you and take an appointment with a doctor without delay.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
