Pain in left leg 2 inches below the knee and two inches left of shin bone. Doesn t hurt at rest but especially uncomfortable when I flex my foot inward or down. I ve been experiencing this for several months. I also have planter faciitis and a neuroma on the left foot. Wonder if it s related in any way?

Hello,

It is due to neuropathic pain associated with neuroma.

As a first line management you can consider drugs like gabapentin for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
