What Causes Leg Tremor?

i have recently had a virus and ear infection, for which my gp gave me antibiotics. When i had finished them the ear ache was gone but i had a dizzy feeling and was told i was suffering labirinthitis and given more medication. After a few days of taking the medication i stopped feeling as dizzy but my left leg started uncontrolably shaking and i began to feel very strange. My gp sent me to the hospital fr an ecg and blood tests and told me to stop taking the meds. We have not as yet been able to find out what is causing this shaking, but she has arranged an mri scan and more blood tests for next week. can you make any suggestions? thanks carolyn
