General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to paraneoplastic syndrome due to lung cancer, as squamous cell carcinoma can be associated with such neurological signs. Other causes should be ruled out with brain MRI or CT scan and neurosurgeon review may be needed. Possibility of brain metastases should also be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing your wife a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
