Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey , I have this What looks like lesion perhaps, it is located right under the head of my penis, it is a grey colored , could be dark blue. Hard to tell really. I ve had it for weeks now maybe months and has not gone away , I thought at first maybe a blood vessel or something but after searching what it may be it worries me it may not be normal . Any ideas ?
Sores or lesions under the penis head commonly occurs due to unprotected sex, skin-to-skin contact, or sharing clothes or towels with someone who is infected. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get STD tests done, if the reports show positive (genital herpes, warts, chancroid, syphilis, etc) results you will be treated with antibiotics or antivirals.
The treating doctor may tell you for a tissue biopsy to detect if the lesion is benign or malignant. Get treated at the earliest. Neglect will result in the worsening of the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
