What Causes Less Bleeding During Menstrual Cycle?

My period was supposed to start on 31st of last month. It did but only for couple of hours and then bleeding stopped for 4 days. Yesterday again my bleeding started but today i have a lot of pain and blood clot. There is very less bleeding and more clots. Please advice.

You have irregular period ....

Cause should be searched for ....

Rule out diabetis and thyroid problem by post prandial blood sugar estimation and thyroid blood profile. .....

Your pelvic examination done ...including per speculum examination also .....

Pelvic USG useful for rule out pelvic inflammatory disease along with urine examination....

If you have history of unprotected intercoure than STD should ruled out ....

USG useful for rule out fibroid, ovarian cyst if present ....

According to cause treatment given with like that of antibiotic , hormonal pill etc....

Consult gynecologist for examination...
