Hallow, I have read your narration thoroughly and have understood your concern.
In fact you have been given some painkillers, sedatives, anti-
vomiting medicines - all of which is having some sort of sedative effect - even on the baby also. The baby also sleeps more due to these medicines. During sleep, the baby moves less.
Fortunately, the heart rates of your baby have been checked and you have been informed that they are normal and the baby is safe. So you can relax.
For your further confirmation and satisfaction, you can count the movements of the baby by clock. Start in the morning at 8 am. Keep the record of the baby's movements on paper. Count till 8.00 pm. If the movements are more than 10, you need not worry.
As your sedative medicines will be minimized, you will feel the stronger movements of your baby.
Moreover, you are also dizzy due to medicines and hence might not be feeling the movements in that condition.
Still if you are worried, you may request the doctor to assess the health of your baby by
ultrasonography.
I hope I have removed your
stress.
