What Causes Light And Prolonged Menstruation?

I had unprotected sex the day before my period started and i still got my period its really light and its now almost a week later im still having my period and i have this weird feeling in my stomach area and woke up this morning feeling sick but nothing happened i also tried the diy home pregnancy test like the sugar and bleach, the sugar clumped and the bleach fizzed with are supposed to indicate positive results but i dont know... could i be pregnant?

Hi I think there is very little chance of pregnancy if you had contact day before the period because it is safe period. But you can do a urine pregnancy test to clear your doubt. Sometimes periods can be light and prolonged. But if it happens again or frequently, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
