What Causes Light Bleeding After Alcohol Consumption?

Last night I drank quit a bit of alcohol now today i noticed theres blood everytime i wipe when i go to the bathroom and its not my period I just got done with that at least a week ago. I noticed this the last time a drank awhile back too whats wrong with me?

According to the literature alcohol intake can lead to menstrual irregularity sometimes. Drinking alcohol can lead to increased estrogen and testosterone hormones which will affect the regular reproductive hormonal cycle and can lead to menstrual irregularity. The intermenstrual sporting you are having after drinking alcohol can be due to this.

If it repeats in the future better to get evaluated once to confirm the cause, by clinical examination and ultrasound the exact cause of the problem can be identified and treatment can be taken to accordingly. By decreasing the frequency of intake and amount of the alcohol, menstrual irregularities can be counteracted.
