What Causes Light Bloody Vaginal Discharge After Sex, Followed By I-pill?

My periods were due on 07-Jan-2014 and had sex on 02-Jan-2014 midnight and taken i-pill on 03Jan-2014 (within 14 hrs of sex), On 04-Jan-2014 started light bloody vaginal discharge
It is still continuing till today 07-Jan-2014. Kindly reply to my queries below.
Is there any chances of pregnancy thereafter?
As the bleeding continues and it has merged to the dates of my periods , should I get periods again or this is only the periods..or side effects of the pill
When can I expect my next month periods or if there is a delay , is it serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Based on the fact that you took the Ipill the chance of pregnancy is very low. The periods may be delayed or skipped the next month due to Ipill.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
