Hi there, If you started to feel lightheaded recently when you stand form sitting and when you stand up from picking up something, that is indicative for orthostatic hypotension (quick drops in blood pressure when you make such movements). I advise to get checked by a cardiologist and to monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar at the time when you are having the episodes, write down the results to pass them to your doctor. I also advise to run: - ECG - cardiac echo - Doppler ultrasound examination of carotid arteries (supplying blood to your brain) - get further evaluated by ENT specialist to rule out inner ear problems If everything is ok, then, you should - make such movements gradually without rushing, - drink more water (avoid dehydration) and - try to control stress/anxiety All the best!
