I feel light headed when i stand from sitting and when i stand up froming picking something up and i have no appetite....... I force my self to eat when i feel hungry and light headed and i have a loose stole as well....... Please help..... and i also had my twin girls on may 22, 2011.......I have had a loose stole since July....... I am a female 31 years old, 145 pounds about 5.7 height......
If you started to feel lightheaded recently when you stand form sitting and when you stand up from picking up something, that is indicative for orthostatic hypotension (quick drops in blood pressure when you make such movements).
I advise to get checked by a cardiologist and to monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar at the time when you are having the episodes, write down the results to pass them to your doctor.
I also advise to run: - ECG - cardiac echo - Doppler ultrasound examination of carotid arteries (supplying blood to your brain) - get further evaluated by ENT specialist to rule out inner ear problems
If everything is ok, then, you should
- make such movements gradually without rushing, - drink more water (avoid dehydration) and - try to control stress/anxiety
All the best! Dr.Albana
