What Causes Light-headedness And Erratic Breathing?

I have been lightheaded for at least a week. BP is normal, my heartbeat is fine but my breathing is erratic. I have been diagnosed with an ear virus and yes I have been lightheaded several times in the past? It has altered my lifestyle. I can t exercise like I used to & I can t get any household chores done. It is not heart related. There is fluid in my ears, right worst than left. Can that cause it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The fluid in ears and ear infection can cause dizziness and vertigo. You should have rest and continue the treatment given by your ENT doctor and the problem will subside. If it still continue your doctor may give you betahistine for vertigo.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
