What Causes Light Hematuria After Intercourse?

I had a period in june on the 20 th as nd my next period was on the 7th of july its irregular due to an sbortion i had in feb 2014. Yesterday i had unprotected sex and today every time i urinate i see brown spot of blood not alot just a little or even a dot on toliet paper.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for your symptoms,
there are few reasons for blood after sex .
1.     Infection in the vagina is one of the common reason, picked up an infection during sex, not STD, any other non sexually transmitted infection.
2.     Dryness – infection, improper foreplay can cause dry sex and injury, dehydration due to decrease water intake, age factor, hormonal imbalance.
3.     Forceful sex can cause injury

4.     Benign or malignant polyp.
5.     Foreign bodies used during sex can cause injury
8.     Anatomical abnormalities

9.     vaginismus - anxiety during sex can cause
10.     Eczema
11.     Deep penetration during sex can cause injury

The injury will heal soon since the genital region has a rich blood supply. If you have persistent spots or pain need to meet a gynecologist.
