What Causes Light Periods?

I have always been abnormal like 35 40 day cycle but my period for the past two months was so light I only needed a liner and have had light pink when wiping during this time, but recently there's a red dot the size of a pen point
Should I be worried?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is happening all the time means chronic history then you need to go for ultrasonography test, the most common cause of irregular period is hormone imbalance and this is also need to be ruled out, some this comes around even without any specific medicines, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
