What Causes Light Red Bleeding During Periods Inspite Of Having Safe Sex?

Girlfriend had light red blood in her period in June. I m guessing she meant watery or milky. Didn t want to ask/hear to much of it. After one day it stopped then continued about 1 week later in June normally. We have protected sex regularly with spermicidal condoms. Is this a sign of pregnancy

I really appreciate your concern, such irregular menses is not the sign of pregnancy but this could be due to hormone changes and this is very common phenomenon and this is nothing to worry, some time this may not need any treatment, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
