What Causes Light Spotting After Taking Depo Shots?
i had a full tummy tuck, thigh lipo, breast lift, and bilateral arm lift as well 6 weeks ago. I have been on the depo shot for 8 years and have not had a problem with break through bleeding. i got my depo shot on Sept 4, 2014 since it was due and now i am bleeding, sometimes heavily but most of the time it s light spotting. i am 30 years of age, 5 7 and weigh 215. plastic surgery was on Aug 11, 2014

Hi,
Light spotting can happen after taking Depo shots and it will settle by itself even without any treatment.
As of now, no treatment is required. If the bleeding is profuse you can take Tranexamic Acid or Ethamsylate tablets.
