What Causes Light Spotting Like Periods, swelling Of Breast And Nausea?

I have recently had a spotty period but my boobs are sore and swollen and I have been slightly nauseous but my pregnancy test came out negative. Is it still possible to be pregnant? I know stress can cause off periods but I get stressed a lot and don t normally have issues with my period being light. When I stress it s generally just delayed a little.

Hello,

These are common perimenstrual symptoms and does not indicates any specific disease condition.

As of now, you can take drugs like Mefenamic Acid for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
