What Causes Light Spotting With No Regular Menstrual Period?

the whole month of feb no period, I had spottings though.. it is not march, lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, hot flashes, 2 negative home pregnancy tests, 2 days of on and off menstrual period. I don;t know if you can call it menstrual period.. could I be pregnant?
