What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding After Menstrual Period?

I just got over my menstrual period last weekend and for the last couple of days including today I have noticed some light vaginal bleeding. Today's bleeding though was more significant than the last two and it included a blood clot as well. Was wondering if I should see a doctor for further diagnosis?
