What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding And Cramps After Having Intercourse?

Hi. I ve been on the nexplanon implant for a year and 3 months and have not experienced a period since starting it. I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend 4 days ago and ever since have been lightly bleeding and getting cramps. Could it be my implant?

your bleeding may be related to the implant- you know this is an object from the outer world and your body reacts to it in different ways, this implant messes with your hormones. One of the side effects for this Nexplanon is bleeding during and after intercourse. However you should be careful because bleeding can be due to other reasons- infection for example ! Go and see a doctor because this is a serious problem !
