Such type of bleeding in the first trimester is nothing to bother about and your USG shows normal reports. Your treating doctor has prescribed this medication to stop bleeding & loss of blood during pregnancy.
It is given to stop miscarriage. Avoid heavy work, stay comfortable & do not take any stress. Do not indulge in sexual intercourse, or it will trigger bleeding. Follow the instructions of your treating doctor and report to him when you have stopped bleeding so that the medication can be stopped. No this medication cannot be taken for a long time.
