What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding Post Intake Of Plan B?

Last week, on Monday, I had unprotected sex. He did not cum inside of me and then I started my period on Tuesday. (My period only lasts around 4 days). So I thought my period was done on Friday, and we had unprotected shower sex. Once again, he did not cum inside of me. When I got out and wiped myself, there was some blood. But then my period was over with. I took the Rite-Aid version of Plan B on Sunday. Now I am experiencing some bleeding, is it normal ? How bad will it effect my body??

Understand your concern
Light vaginal bleeding after plan b pill is common and it will occur in 50 percent women.
It is breakthrough bleeding due to high progesterone in the plan B pill.
It will goes off with in 4-5 days. Chance of pregnancy is less as you did sex in safe period of cycle.
It will due to hormonal imbalance and do not affect the body so much. But do not take pill regularly.
