What Causes Light Vaginal Spotting And Abdominal Cramps?

Last month i started spotting for two days, then the next two days My flow was really heavy &then i starting again. The month before my period was unusually short, &now today I m cramping & there s blood only when I wipe. I took three pregnancy tests and they all said no, What does this mean?
